A Guide To Easier Stable Care

When we say a Millcreek Manure Spreader can make a big difference in your life, that’s no pile of horse manure. It’s a fact!

A new day of good horse keeping has arrived.

Enjoy a cleaner stable as you harmonize with nature, and say goodbye to those unpleasant mounds. Bid farewell to wheelbarrow struggles and aching backs, too. You’ll even eliminate the cost of waste removal as you recycle nature’s nutrients on as little as 1/3 of an acre per horse.

Your Horse is a Powerful Recycling Factory. Here’s how to manage.
Producing 40-50 pounds of waste per day, caring for a horse requires planning and good sense.

Some wrestle with wheelbarrows to move manure from stalls to unpleasant, unsanitary piles. Eventually the piles are hauled away, usually at considerable expense.

The Millcreek Solution
With a Millcreek Manure Spreader and a smart plan to rotate your pasture lands, you can put nature’s recycling miracle to use solving what could otherwise be a very messy, expensive problem.

Load it up, tow it to a nearby field, with your garden tractor or ATV, press the lever, and in seconds the earth receives the nutrients it needs to restore growing capacity.

Whether you have one horse or dozens, you’ll find a Millcreek Manure spreader that fits your needs and suits your pocketbook. Check our convenient Buyer’s Guide to find the model just right for you. We are proud to say we have not just the best, but also the largest selection in the industry.

Design Excellence

Ryan Gamber heads up the Millcreek Engineering team.

Designed with ease of use in mind, a Millcreek Manure Spreader is loaded with a host of features and options to make the chore of manure management a quick and easy task.

A low, open profile is characteristic of all Millcreek spreaders – an important design feature that enables easy-on-the back loading.  Each model has feather-touch controls for easy engagement of the spreader operation.  The durable, attractive finish and poly floor are designed to last for many years of reliable service.  The thick-skin urethane lined sides (optional) provide an extra measure of protection and clean up quickly and easily.

T-rod apron chain on all Millcreek spreaders is four times stronger than standard steel detachable link chain.

The handy dollywheel/jack, available for the smaller spreader models, allows easy maneuvering in tight spaces and through doorways as narrow as four feet.  Larger Millcreek spreaders include a sturdy swing-away jack stand.  A host of add-on options, including end gates and fines pans, allow you to further customize the operation of your spreader for your specific spreading application preferences.

Safety is always a concern at Millcreek – to that end, you’ll find protective shielding and safety bars in all the right places to provide the highest levels of protection under safe operating conditions as specified by Millcreek.  Rounded, cast corners complete the Millcreek spreader design package.

Extremely Low Maintenance

We recommend one little maintenance task be performed for smoothest operation. Spray a little cooking oil on the apron chain every now and then. That’s the “moving floor” that delivers material to the manure spreader beater. You’ll hardly even have to bend over. That’s it! All other bearings are sealed and greaseless.

More information on how to care for your specific Millcreek spreader can be found in our Product Manual Library.
